I want to restore conversation to the world.
Expanse began as a Socratic online school from 2020 to 2021. I co-founded a pilot where kids across three continents dramatically outperformed their peers. One leapt seven reading levels in a quarter; another wrote a novel; all loved the program. I've since exited the org (it's continued under another name), but my core ambition remains: how do we build real conversation at scale? I'm currently thinking about Socratic discussion as an extracurricular, both human- and AI-led.
Seeking: pilot families, homeschool co-ops, seminar teachers, and partners who care about discussion quality rather than chatbot novelty.
Starting with a paper focused on the epigenetics of play behavior built my confidence to work on real problems in the biotech space. We're currently exploring opportunities to fix idiopathic short stature and leg length difference. Moonshots being explored are growth plate de-fusion and limb regeneration.
